The Trustees seeks candidates excited about environmental education and summer camp for its network of farm, coastal, and art camps in eastern Massachusetts. Full-time and part-time seasonal positions as Camp Educators, Lead Educators, Assistant Directors, Camp Directors, Art & Nature Instructors, and Culinary Instructors are hiring now! Camp training starts in June (earlier for Camp Directors). Camps run through late August at seven nature-based day camps in Ipswich, Hingham, Lincoln, Dover, and Edgartown.
DAY CAMP JOBS in Eastern Massachusetts:
Do you want to work with an organization at the forefront of saving Massachusetts’ spectacular special places AND work outside educating kids and having a blast this summer? All while gaining valuable work experience in environmental education, outdoor recreation, health and safety, and childhood development; plus acquiring skills in communication, collaboration, critical thinking, problem solving, leadership, empathy, and strong work ethic.
Camp staff are seasonal employees who play an essential role at day camps at signature properties of The Trustees, a non-profit conservation organization. Whether you are interested in a summer on a working farm, in the woods, in a sculpture park, in a teaching kitchen, or at the coast, Trustees Camps offer quality education and fun for campers aged 4 to 15. Camp staff benefits include free admission to 120+ Trustees properties across Massachusetts plus program and product discounts.
2025 CAMP EDUCATORS (COUNSELORS): If you are outgoing, have experience working with children, and are considering becoming an educator, youth worker, an agriculturalist, an ecologist, an artist, a chef, childcare worker, or other related field, there are exciting options available for Camp Educators at our camps in eastern Massachusetts:

- SummerQuest at Crane Estate, Ipswich – Coastal Camp (June 24-August 23 + training weeks)
- Weir River Farm Camp, Hingham – Farm Camp (June 24-August 16 + training week)
- World’s End Camp, Hingham – Coastal Camp (June 24-August 16 + training week)
- Farmer, Forester, Chef! at Powisset Farm, Dover – Farm + Cooking + Nature Camp (June 24 - August 16 + training week)
- deCordova Sculpture Park and Museum, Lincoln – Art + Nature Camp (July 1-August 16 + training days)
- The Farm Institute, Edgartown (Martha’s Vineyard) – Farm + Cooking Camp (June 24-August 23 + training weeks)

Camp Educator positions starting rate is $16.50-18/hour
Advanced positions starting rate is $18-19/hour
