The Department of Biology (https://biology.uncg.edu/about/the-department/) at the University of North Carolina Greensboro (UNCG) seeks an individual with a strong record of accomplishment in the area of Pollinator Sciences for a tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor. Successful applicants will be expected to develop an externally funded research program, mentor undergraduate and graduate students from diverse backgrounds, make significant contributions to our Ph.D. program, teach courses that may include animal behavior, pollinator biology, environmental biology, evolution or genetics, and specialty courses in their discipline. The scholarly environment in the Biology Department is highly collaborative, with synergies among faculty in related disciplines. UNCG has excellent resources to support this position, including a world-class Plant and Pollinator Center at Gateway Research Park, North Campus https://biology.uncg.edu/ppc/facility-information/ that includes a field lab with a walk-in insect incubator, a cold room, abundant outdoor field space, a molecular lab, and classroom/community space.
