Part-time position, flexible hours. Biological Monitor for Migratory Bird Identification, and protection of Threatened and Endangered Species on Federal construction projects in the Everglades located in Palm Beach County, FL. College degree and 3-5 years of field experience a must. A combination of education and relevant experience working with the identification of Migratory birds, bird nesting and nesting habitats, Gopher Tortoise, Eastern Indigo Snake, and other Threatened and Endangered Species and their habitats in South Florida is required. Must live in Florida and have relevant experience with the flora and fauna of South Florida. Reliable transportation, computer with Microsoft software to complete Daily Monitoring Report data sheet(s), Internet, valid driver’s license and ability to meet daily deadline required.
