Grand Canyon Conservancy

Grand Canyon Conservancy, the official philanthropic and collaborative partner of Grand Canyon National Park, seeks applications and nominations for its next Chief Executive Officer.

Founded in 1932, Grand Canyon Conservancy (GCC) is a 501(c)(3) that supports Grand Canyon National Park to safeguard natural and cultural resources, protect indigenous people and connected communities, and create memorable experiences for visitors. Given the strength of its partnership with Grand Canyon National Park, a UNESCO-designated World Heritage Site, GCC is uniquely positioned to amplify the park's strategic goals and to serve as a leader among park partners nationally. GCC also has an ambitious capital campaign underway to coincide with the 100th anniversary in 2032 to support these goals.

The next Chief Executive Officer (CEO) will join GCC at a pivotal time and be instrumental in inspiring and executing the next phase of strategic growth and excellence for the Conservancy. Alongside a dedicated Board of Directors and mission-driven staff, the CEO will set organizational priorities in alignment with its partners at Grand Canyon National Park with the goal of positively impacting over five million park visitors annually and to further expand the park’s reach. The CEO will be a strategic, collaborative, and inspirational leader who will provide vision and oversight of a broad portfolio of revenue streams and philanthropic initiatives.

The CEO will be expected to address the following key opportunities and challenges:
