The position provides technical assistance, support, and strategic engagement with our partners, including local municipalities, private landowners, and state and other federal agencies.

The Community Forest Associate helps fulfill the needs of our forest program by supporting the ongoing efforts within the region to partner with current and potential community-led forestry management efforts.

This position will report directly to the Community Forest Program Manager and will work closely with the Private Forestlands Program Director, while collaboratively with the broader Forest team, which comprises 4 to 6 staff members.
