This an exciting job opportunity for someone looking to work a summer season in Greece on a small tourist boat.  This boat in Lefkada (Ionian Islands), offers the Marine Adventure cruise, a snorkel/marine wildlife excursion, running daily from early June to the end of September, with a maximum of 15 guests each day.   We are currently recruiting for 2 positions - Cruise Manager (advertised seperately), and Cruise Assistant (advertised here).

The Marine Adventure cruise is a snorkel tour with an emphasis on marine wildlife. We visit local beaches and bays for swimming and snorkeling, and guests are informed about the local wildlife. A BBQ lunch is served on board. We are looking for a Cruise Assistant to assist the running of this cruise, swimming with the guests, giving information, helping to prepare and serve the lunch, and helping to ensure the boat is clean and stocked for each cruise. 

This is a fixed-term position from the end of May/beginning of June to the end of September (17 weeks). The cruises are mostly daytime with very few evening cruises throughout the season, so crew members will generally be free in the evenings.  Accommodation is provided.

Candidates should have an interest in/experience in the field of marine biology, be a strong and confident swimmer, and should ideally have some experience working in the tourism sector.   Candidates should be confident, friendly and have an interest in working with people and offering a high standard of customer service.  A good level of spoken and written English is essential. Candidates must be EU residents, or with a permit to work in Greece (for more than 90 days).
