The Delta Stewardship Council, a California State Agency, is seeking three prominent scientists to serve on the Delta Independent Science Board, which provides oversight of the science that underlies environmental decision-making in California’s Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta. Desired expertise include physical hydrology, geology, ecology and/or Traditional Knowledge.

The incumbents will collaborate alongside national and international scientists to produce influential reports that support the adaptive management of the largest estuary on the west coast of North America.

Applications are due by March 31, 2025. Appointed members will start on September 1, 2025.
