Native Prairies Association of Texas (NPAT) seeks a passionate and dynamic Education and Volunteer Coordinator to lead educational programs and volunteer initiatives across Texas. This role requires regular travel throughout the state to coordinate hands-on land stewardship events, deliver educational presentations, and build community engagement in prairie conservation efforts.
As a key team member, you’ll develop and implement school-based and community programs, manage volunteer activities on NPAT-protected lands, and represent the organization at events. You should be comfortable with public speaking, leading outdoor activities, and working with diverse groups, from students to corporate volunteers.
This position is hybrid/remote, but frequent travel (monthly or more) is required for on-site events, fieldwork, and partnership development. Occasional evening and weekend work may also be necessary.
Compensation & Benefits:
Salary: $45,000 – $55,000, based on experience
