SUMMARY:  The Mount St. Helens Institute Educators facilitate meaningful experiences for our guests, including leading hikes and other educational activities, helping students build confidence and a sense of belonging in the outdoors, and sharing their enthusiasm for Mount St. Helens with our guests.  Our guests are primarily groups of youth ages 6-18, their families, and  teachers but also include people of all ages at our rental programs and summer events.

Educators will work with a small group of individuals under the direction of the Science Education Manager and with the support of the Science Education Coordinator.
