The Environmental Compliance Administrator will support the Air Force Civil Engineer Center (AFCEC) in managing various environmental quality programs. This role involves a combination of administrative tasks, data analysis, and limited fieldwork to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and policies. Position will report to AFCEC offices on Joint Base San Antonio. Duties include document review, scanning, researching topics related to environmental quality programs, data analysis, developing reporting metrics, cultural resources archival work, and occasional day trips to installations.
Potential duties will include but are not limited to the tasks below:
- Support AFCEC environmental quality programs, including air quality, water quality, tanks, training ranges, hazardous waste, pollution prevention (P2), hazardous materials (hazmat), Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act (EPCRA), and solid waste management.
- Conduct document review, scanning, and research on topics related to environmental quality programs.
- Analyze data and develop reporting metrics to assist program managers.
- Perform cultural resources archival work.
- Participate in occasional day trips to installations for on-site support.
- Manage multiple requests from various points of contact (POCs) and communicate effectively to clarify expectations, priorities, and deadlines.
- Handle interactions with multiple personalities and maintain a professional demeanor.
