Red Rock Ranch is a spectacular 5,000-acre private property specializing in world-class fishing, hunting and conservation. We’re seeking a dedicated, hands-on Estate Manager to oversee operations and ensure a memorable experience for all who visit the property.
ABOUT THE POSITION
The Estate Manager is responsible for the upkeep and day-to-day operations of the ranch and its dwellings, managing the ranch’s guest and event calendar, performing and/or scheduling regular maintenance of infrastructure and equipment, and managing staff.
You will be responsible for:
- Meeting with the property owners to discuss their requirements, plans and any upcoming visits.
- Preparing and maintaining the ranch budget.
- Managing maintenance, repairs and renovation projects on the Ranch.
- Supervising all ranch employees.
- Creating and implementing optimal practices for ranch operations, including guest operations and ecological stewardship.
- Compiling monthly reports for the property owners.
- Assisting the Office Manager with administrative tasks such as accounts payable, expense reports and petty cash reconciliation.
- Handling the negotiating and oversight of independent contractors and contractor agreements.
- Serving as the lead representative of Red Rock Ranch regarding community, neighbor, county, and state matters.
- Managing and coordinating guest schedules for onsite and offsite activities such as hunting or fishing.
- Running errands and provide round trip airport transportation for guests.
- Maintaining an impeccable standard of cleanliness and presentation of the main house and guest homes, including all rooms, bathrooms, and common areas.
- Overseeing and assisting with maintenance of the grounds, lawns, and flower beds around guest facilities.
- All other duties as assigned.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
Essential:
- 3+ years of estate management experience.
- Ability to develop and manage a budget.
- This position requires operation of vehicles, and you’ll need to possess a valid driver’s license or be able to obtain one within 30 days of employment. Your driving record will need to meet the standards and requirements of the Company and the Company’s insurance provider.
- You’ll need to present documentation establishing both identity and employment authorization within three days of hire pursuant to federal law.
Preferred:
- A high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Experience working in a luxury household setting.
- Experience working in agriculture with an emphasis on caring for livestock and vegetation.
- Working knowledge of computers and basic Microsoft Office Programs.

ACCOMMODATIONS

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORK ENVIRONMENT
On a regular basis, you can expect to:
- Stand; sit; walk; move hands and fingers; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.
- Lift and/or move up to 50 pounds; occasionally lift up to 100lbs.
- Perform physical labor for extended periods of time.
- Be on your feet for extended periods of time.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
You will regularly be required to work long hours, and you may be exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; high precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; outside weather conditions and extreme heat. You may be exposed to moving mechanical parts and toxic or caustic chemicals. You will be occasionally exposed to vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.
You will be required to work on nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. This position will often require work in excess of eight hours in a workday.
