Regenified is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Field Verifier/Agronomist to join our team. The Field Verifier will be responsible for conducting thorough field assessments and verifications of farms and agricultural operations across the United States. This role is crucial in ensuring that farms meet Regenified's rigorous standards for regenerative agriculture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Field Assessments:

    • Conduct on-site visits to forestry and agricultural operations to evaluate compliance with Regenified’s regenerative agriculture standards.
    • Collect soil, water, and plant samples for laboratory analysis.
    • Observe and document soil management, and biodiversity efforts.
  • Verification and Reporting:

    • Verify data and information provided through interviews, observations, and sampling.
    • Prepare detailed and accurate reports on findings, highlighting compliance levels and areas needing improvement.
    • Collaborate with the certification team to finalize verification outcomes and provide feedback to farms.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:

    • Liaise with foresters, agronomists, and other stakeholders to explain verification processes and standards.
    • Provide guidance and support to farmers in implementing and maintaining regenerative practices.
    • Participate in training sessions and workshops to stay updated on the latest regenerative agriculture techniques and standards.
  • Data Management:

    • Maintain accurate and organized records of all field assessments and verifications.
    • Utilize digital tools and software for data collection, analysis, and reporting.
    • Ensure confidentiality and integrity of all collected data.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Forestry, Agronomy, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in fieldwork with a focus on sustainable or regenerative practices.
  • Strong knowledge of regenerative agriculture principles and practices.
  • Excellent observational and analytical skills.
  • Ability to travel extensively across the United States and Canada. Occasional international travel required.
  • Proficiency in data collection and reporting tools.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. 
  • Technical competency including working Google suite and map applications along with the ability to learn new technologies quickly.
