About the Opportunity:
As a member of the Breaking Barriers Collaborative team, The Fleet Electrification Program Manager (FEPM) will lead the strategy, development and implementation of programs that accelerate the adoption of zero-emissions Medium- and Heavy-Duty vehicles (MHDV) by businesses and other organizations across the Pacific Northwest.
In addition, the FEPM builds relationships and mobilizes strategic partners to promote financial incentives available to fleet owners, and organizes trainings that enable businesses to successfully plan and implement their fleet decarbonization efforts.
KEY PRIORITIES DURING YOUR FIRST YEAR
What You’ll Achieve:
Program Design and Implementation - 35%
- Lead the design and implementation of fleet decarbonization initiatives.
- Identify and address barriers that businesses face in adopting electric fleets, working with internal teams and external partners to develop solutions.
- Align program strategy with Breaking Barrier Collaborative’s (BBC) mission and Climate Solutions’ equity commitments, ensuring outcomes center community needs and climate justice.
- Use data and research to identify new program opportunities, refine strategies, and prioritize customer audiences.
Business Outreach, Engagement & Strategic Partnerships - 35%
- Develop and execute multi-channel outreach campaigns to businesses that build awareness and interest in MHDV incentive programs and BBC training programs.
- Build and manage relationships with a diverse group of fleet owners, operators, and business leaders to encourage them to participate in BBC programs and fleet incentive programs.
- Serve as BBC’s primary point of contact for government agencies and partners that operate fleet incentive programs.
- Work collaboratively with BBC’s communications agency to increase visibility, access and recruitment into these programs.
Capacity Building & Training Facilitation - 30%
- Develop and launch at least one training or educational program within the first year that helps businesses plan and implement fleet electrification for their Medium- and Heavy-Duty fleets.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to develop and deliver business-friendly programs and content.
- Provide technical assistance and resources to support businesses in navigating the application process and transition to electric fleets.
- Ensure that training programs align with state and regional decarbonization goals.

TRAVEL: This is a hybrid role based in Seattle, WA, with a combination of remote and in-person internal meetings (1-2x/week) and external partner meetings, events, and trainings.
