Land Management Technician
Hawthorn Hollow Nature Sanctuary and Arboretum
Kenosha, Wisconsin
The Land Management Technician will be responsible for several aspects of the day-to-day land management and ecological restoration activities at Hawthorn Hollow Nature Sanctuary and Arboretum. This is a seasonal, part-time position lasting from May through September 2025 and will require the ability to assist with fieldwork throughout the growing season.
Under the supervision of Hawthorn Hollow’s Ecologist, the Land Management Technician will:
- Conduct invasive species removal
- Be responsible for seed collection and planting/maintaining native plant communities
- Assist with ongoing erosion control projects and restoration implementation
- Maintain Hawthorn Hollow’s current 5-mile trail system and build new trails as
needed
