Bears Ears Partnership is seeking a motivated professional to assist in field operations of our Canyon Country Youth Corps (CCYC). CCYC is a service program for youth and young adults, many of whom are local or Indigenous residents of the Colorado Plateau. CCYC teaches effective life skills, field techniques, tool use, resource management, backcountry living skills, habitat protection and healthy living. It also prepares participants for careers in natural resources and recreation management. CCYC is an AmeriCorps program. Work projects include habitat restoration, trail maintenance, invasive species removal and fire/fuels reduction on public lands.
