Sawtooth Interpretive & Historical Association
Stanley, Idaho
Are you passionate about natural and cultural history, outdoor education & recreation, and connecting with diverse audiences? Would you like to spend the summer in the stunning Sawtooth Mountains of Idaho? Then you’re just who we’re looking for! As a member of the Sawtooth Interpretive and Historical Association’s (SIHA) summer crew you’ll engage visitors with interpretive programs, share history and create museum exhibits, and inspire stewardship of our public lands. SIHA’s full-time, seasonal positions offer professional development, team collaboration, shared housing, and the opportunity to help thousands of visitors connect with the land and stories of the Sawtooth Valley.

Historic Specialists assist with museum operations, manage museum grounds, maintain and create museum exhibits, coordinate events, and provide area information to visitors.
These seasonal roles (May 22–August 25, with opportunities to extend into September) offer free shared housing, professional development opportunities, team collaboration, and an opportunity to explore one of Idaho's most beautiful regions.
