What You’ll Do
Guest Engagement and Education:
• Lead immersive experiences like birdwatching, forest trails, insect and herpetology walks, stargazing, and forest bathing.
• Educate guests about the unique flora, fauna, and ecology of the Western Ghats, helping them connect deeply with nature.
• Create unforgettable moments for guests through storytelling and expert guidance.
Conservation and Ecosystem Management:
• Manage and enhance ecosystems like the butterfly garden, fish pond, and native flora zones.
• Conduct biodiversity surveys and monitor seasonal ecological changes, documenting findings regularly.
• Organize forest patrols to protect wildlife and raise awareness about conservation in local communities.
Research and Creative Content:
• Plan and execute studies on flora and fauna specific to the Western Ghats.
• Write blog articles and create photo and video content showcasing the unique biodiversity of the area.
• Share insights and findings to educate a broader audience and promote conservation.
Who We’re Looking For
We are seeking passionate, field-savvy individuals with:
• Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Natural Sciences, Environmental Studies, or Wildlife Science.
• Field Experience: At least 6 months of hands-on work in biodiversity hotspots or similar environments. Experience in the Western Ghats is highly desirable.
• Skills:
• Strong guest interaction and storytelling abilities.
• Knowledge of local flora, fauna, and ecological systems.
• A professional and enthusiastic attitude that inspires others.
Candidates with prior experience conducting field studies, working on conservation projects, or engaging in educational initiatives are encouraged to apply.
