Organizer for Bozeman
Bold Visions Conservation
Bozeman, Montana
Bold Visions Conservation is a Bozeman based non-profit working to end trapping and protect more than 1.7 million acres of land south of our community as a sanctuary for wildlife. We also continue to work to close trails to trapping across Montana.
We are looking to hire a Bozeman based Director to work on our various campaigns.
This person should have the following skill set:
- Experience in conservation work.
- Outgoing personality and solid written and communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and a passion for protecting wildlife and public lands.
- The ability to work with a remote Executive Director and fulfill required tasks.
- Work with the Mayor and other Elected officials to move our agenda and gain their support on critical issues.
- The ability to develop earned media and develop strong ties with media state-wide.
- To speak in public and take our presentation to various groups in state.
- Attend State Fish, Wildlife and Park hearings and testify.
- Develop relationships with the Island Park community.
We work as a team and as ED, I work to ensure you have the tools needed for success. We welcome diversity and anyone hired will continue to support our efforts at Tribal outreach.
We are a small, but vocal organization, we work in a tough political environment, but we have a community that loves their public lands and wildlife. Working on our efforts means being part of history, because if we create a new National Monument for wildlife, it will be the first of its kind!
