Regalis Environmental LLC is seeking two experienced field biologists to work as independent contractors, conducting fall Pinyon Jay surveys in beautiful southwestern Colorado.

Where and When:
BLM land near the Dolores River in southwestern Colorado, approximately 1 hour northeast of Dove Creek, CO.  

Work schedule is September 2nd - October 18th.  Field biologists should expect to spend 4-5 nights per week camping near the field site, on BLM land.  Field work requires walking several miles/day across rough terrain.  

Priority will be given to pairs of qualified biologists applying together given the close working and living conditions.  References who can attest to your professionalism and ability to work well together are desirable.

Compensation:
Competitive compensation, dependent on experience.  Compensation will also include reimbursement of personal vehicle use (high clearance 4x4 required) at the federal mileage rate, and reimbursement of weekend lodging in Dove Creek.
