Policy and Partnership Specialist (#S5222PO)

The Gund Institute for Environment seeks a Policy and Partnerships Specialist to join our outreach team and help us increase the impact of our dynamic, interdisciplinary research community. The Policy and Partnerships Specialist will create opportunities for Gund Institute faculty and students to engage with policy communities at the state, federal and international levels. They will cultivate relationships with Gund Institute partners and collaborators from the private, public, and NGO sectors. 

Reporting to the Director of Policy and Partnerships, the position will strengthen and seed our strategic partnerships, support faculty-led research projects, design and facilitate impactful events, and prepare policy and issue briefs on a wide range of environmental topics.  

We seek candidates with two to four years of policy, government relations, and/or project management experience. Familiarity with academic settings and research institutions and demonstrated interest in environmental science, climate change, biodiversity, and/or sustainability are a plus.  The University is especially interested in candidates who can contribute to the diversity and excellence of the institution.
