TreeFolks is an Austin-based nonprofit organization. Our mission is to empower Central Texans to build stronger communities through planting and caring for trees. TreeFolks seeks a dedicated and detail-oriented Reforestation & Carbon Credit Assistant to support TreeFolks Central Texas Floodplain Reforestation Program (CTFRP) and Carbon Credit Program. This position will assist in reforestation efforts, including tree care, mapping, carbon credit reporting, and program development.

The person we add to our active and inclusive team is hardworking, detail-oriented, enjoys fieldwork, and is committed to TreeFolks Core Values. The ideal candidate has GIS mapping experience, basic knowledge of trees and native plants, can repeatedly lift and carry 25+ pounds, and is willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions on both private and public land across the  7-county region of Central Texas.  Full job description available here.
