The Mammoth Lakes Trails and Public Access Foundation (MLTPA) is seeking energetic, motivated applicants interested in serving as a Research & Policy Analyst. A successful applicant will have a demonstrated interest in identifying and researching current or impending matters relevant to Sustainable Recreation, Ecosystem Management, and Climate Change policies from the Regional to National level. Other duties will include public meeting preparation and participation, messaging and outreach review, and efforts to identify, develop, foster, and maintain active partnerships with local and regional recreation partners and affinity groups, research funding opportunities, research, and draft grant applications. Demonstrated familiarity and expertise with computer platforms and software; online tools including content management systems (CMS); cloud-based data storage systems; Microsoft Office, Google Suite, GIS and ESRI Systems.
