Spring Field Instructor - Day Programs and Overnight Trips

Wasatch Mountain Institute seeks to hire qualified and trained individuals as instructors for field programs, including naturalists, environmental educators, and outdoor industry guides. Instructors will be contractors and paid starting at $15 an hour, with pay bumps from experience. This employment opportunity can complement other employment or school schedules, as it is a flexible position in which team members work trips as they are available.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to
- To facilitate activity sessions in such a way that all participants feel valued, safe and part of a team.
- To seek to build positive relationships with groups of both young people and adults.
- Relate positively with people of diverse ages and backgrounds.
- Inspire and connect young people to natural history and science curriculum
