Are you passionate about bringing history and nature to life? Columbia State Historic Park, home to one of California’s best-preserved Gold Rush towns, is looking for an experienced and passionate interpreter to lead our dynamic interpretive programs.
What You’ll Do: Complete Duty Statement
- Lead the park’s interpretive programs, with a special focus on living history and museum exhibits.
- Oversee multiple 4th-grade school programs, weekend programs, and special events that connect visitors to California’s rich history.
- Coordinate a 100+ volunteer program, ensuring the community plays a vital role in sharing our park’s story.
- Work alongside cultural, ranger, concession, and maintenance staff to achieve park goals.
