The reporting location for this position is headquarters in Sacramento, CA. This position will work under the general direction of the Interpretation and Education Chief, C.E.A.
California State Parks is seeking a dynamic, enthusiastic and engaging individual who will serve as the Off-Highway Motor Vehicular Recreation Program Manager for the Interpretation and Education Division. This position will act as a liaison between the Department and local, state, and federal agencies, non-profits, and other partners on interpretive programs and projects focused on OHV recreation, conservation and protection of cultural and natural resources. The position will plan, develop, implement and manage interpretation, education and outreach OHV recreation programs, and supervise the staff involved in program and outreach delivery. This is an opportunity to foster collaboration and partnerships among diverse organizations and participate in community outreach and engagement events.
Training and Development Assignments may be considered.

Occasional travel may be required, including overnight trips and weekends. Possession of a valid driver’s license is required when operating a state owned or leased vehicle.
