This position is responsible to lead, direct and manage the day-to-day operations of Ute Lake State Park.  This position is responsible for the protection and management of natural and cultural resources, visitor services, interpretation/education programs, facility management and maintenance. Ensure Department, Division and Park policy, goals and objectives are met through the supervision of staff responsible for various park programs which include: public land use and management, administration, budget, human resources, building and facility maintenance, equipment and tool maintenance, interpretation/education programs, volunteers, marketing and public relations.  Oversee and perform law enforcement to ensure all laws and rules are followed and to ensure visitor safety.
