The Westerly Land Trust's Land Stewardship Intern will help build the long-term capacity of the Westerly Land Trust by working closely with WLT’s Land Stewardship Manager to support WLT’s land conservation and land stewardship efforts. Collaborate to resolve any emergent issues on protected properties with high sensitivity and professionalism. Document, record, and file pertinent information relating to stewardship visits, issues, and activities on WLT properties. Support WLT’s plan for ecological land management, including control of invasive species, native habitat monitoring, and custodial land management (trail and equipment maintenance, groundskeeping, photo monitoring, mapping). Engage and support stewardship volunteers and other interns.

Summer Internship Term: 20-25 hours per week for ten weeks (June 9- August 15, 2025). Start/end dates flexible.
