WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We are currently seeking to hire a Stormwater Control Foreman to provide leadership for all functions of the stormwater management crews in our North Dakota / Eastern Montana operations. This person will lead a team of technicians, ensuring that erosion control management tasks are executed efficiently and effectively. The position is based in Tioga, ND. We offer competitive pay (starting $27/hour depending on experience) with overtime potential and provided lodging. Positions are full time and seasonal, from March through November 2025, with possibility moving up within the company.

Expectations are listed below:

  • Lead and motivate a team of erosion control technicians.
  • Provide guidance, training, and support to ensure team’s success.
  • Schedule and coordinate daily activities to meet project deadlines.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of client properties to identify erosion risks and determine best practices for stormwater control.
  • Plan and implement installation of erosion control measures (sediment barriers, silt fences, wattles, etc.).
  • Conduct site inspections and assessments to evaluate erosion control effectiveness.
  • Update inspection and repair documentation in a digital data management system.
  • Oversee the maintenance and proper use of erosion control equipment and materials.
  • Ensure that all equipment is in good working condition and meets safety standards.
  • Coordinate equipment logistics for various projects.
  • Provide regular updates on project progress and address any client concerns.
  • Offer recommendations for ongoing weed management to maintain client satisfaction.
  • Adhere to all industry regulations and safety protocols.
  • Implement and enforce safety measures to prevent accidents and ensure the working environment.

Additional job tasks may include:

  • Assist with vegetation monitoring/surveys and other reclamation projects
  • Identify plants using a key
  • Manage weeds using a truck, ATV/UTV, or backpack mounted herbicide spray equipment.
  • Job tasks may vary and be assigned as management and leadership needs.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED
Applicants must have:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years relevant experience leading a stormwater management program (or equivalent education).
  • A commitment to high standards in safety.
  • A North Dakota certified pesticide applicator license (preferred) or ability to obtain a license.
  • A positive attitude and ability to work well as part of a team.
  • A clean driving record.
  • Ability to travel regularly to project locations.
  • Ability to participate in pre-employment drug and alcohol testing.
  • Ability to work in adverse weather conditions.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds.
  • Be organized and detail-oriented.
