Position Overview
We are seeking a Teen Trip Leader to supervise and mentor campers (ages 13-15) through outdoor adventures, including a 100-mile biking trip along Wisconsin’s scenic Rails to Trails routes. The role involves leading group activities, ensuring safety, fostering teamwork, and helping teens develop confidence and leadership skills.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead a group of up to 10 campers on biking and camping trips.
- Maintain a primitive campsite as the group’s home base.
- Facilitate outdoor activities, including biking, canoeing, and team-building exercises.
- Ensure camper safety and well-being throughout the trip.
- Collaborate with co-leaders to implement the Teen Program curriculum.
- Organize and lead a service project with the teen group.
Compensation & Benefits
- $1,060 for 17 days / $2,120 for 34 days, with potential for additional work.
- Housing and meals included.
- Opportunity to gain leadership experience in a dynamic outdoor environment.
- Program dates: June 22 - July 7 & July 11 – 27 (with possible additional work before/between trips).
