WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
We are currently seeking to hire a Vegetation Management Foreman to provide leadership for all functions of the vegetation management crews in our Wyoming operations. This person will lead a team of technicians, ensuring that weed management tasks are executed efficiently and effectively. The position is based in Tioga, ND. We offer competitive pay (starting at $27/hour depending on experience) with overtime potential. Lodging will be provided, Pier Diem will be provided if work requires overnight lodging away from Tioga, ND. Positions are full time and seasonal, from March through November 2025, with the possibility of moving up within the company.
Expectations are listed below:
- Lead and motivate a team of weed control technicians.
- Provide guidance, training, and support to ensure team’s success.
- Schedule and coordinate daily activities to meet project deadlines.
- Conduct thorough assessments of client properties to identify weed infestations and determine appropriate control methods.
- Plan and implement weed control strategies, including the application of herbicides and other control measures.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of weed control efforts.
- Oversee the maintenance and proper use of weed control equipment.
- Ensure that all equipment is in good working condition and meets safety standards.
- Coordinate equipment logistics for various projects.
- Provide regular updates on project progress and address any client concerns.
- Offer recommendations for ongoing weed management to maintain client satisfaction.
- Adhere to all industry regulations and safety protocols.
- Implement and enforce safety measures to prevent accidents and ensure the working environment.
- Stay informed about the latest developments in weed control techniques and regulations.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
Applicants must have:
- Minimum of bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience of 3-5 years leading a vegetation management program.
- A commitment to high standards in safety.
- A Wyoming certified pesticide applicator license (preferred) or ability to obtain a license.
- A positive attitude and ability to work well as part of a team.
- A clean driving record.
- Ability to travel regularly to project locations.
- Ability to participate in pre-employment drug and alcohol testing.
- Ability to work in adverse weather conditions.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Be organized and detail oriented.
