KC Harvey Environmental is a growing environmental consulting and field services firm headquartered in Bozeman, Montana, with regional operations in Rawlins, and Sheridan, Wyoming; Stanley, North Dakota; and remote operations throughout the Rocky Mountains and Northern Great Plains.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
We are currently seeking to hire multiple Vegetation Management Technicians to assist with vegetation management in our operations based in Tioga, ND. We offer competitive pay (starting $24/hour depending on experience) with overtime potential and provided lodging. Positions are full time and seasonal, from April through November 2025. Employment beyond these dates is possible depending on project needs.
Projects and duties include:
- Manage weeds using truck, ATV/UTV, or backpack mounted herbicide spray equipment.
- Safely and properly mix herbicides according to manufacturer labels.
- Assist with erosion control projects.
- Assist with other reclamation projects.
- Identify weeds and native plants (training will be provided).
- Navigate using digital maps.
- Map new and existing features using ArcGIS Collector on tablet computers.
- Operate skidsteers and front wheel tractors with several different attachments
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
Applicants must have:
- A commitment to High Standards in Safety.
- A North Dakota certified pesticide applicator license (preferred) or willingness to obtain a license.
- A positive attitude and ability to work well as part of a team.
- A clean driving record.
- Ability to travel regularly to project locations.
- Ability to participate in pre-employment drug and alcohol testing.
- Ability to work in adverse weather conditions.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Ability to work independently
- Be 18 years of age or older.
- Be organized and detail-oriented.
