The Ember Alliance (TEA)’s Fire Management Department is hiring a Wildland Fire Science Coordinator position to support wildland fire science coproduction between research groups and Department of Defense (DoD) wildland fire technology development sites (Innovation Nodes). The Wildland Fire Science Coordinator position focuses on developing and translating management-relevant prescribed fire science through facilitation of research burn campaigns, networking, workshops, publications, training, and planning/logistical support. This position will include assisting with scoping, planning, and creating dynamic training aids to bring QUIC-Fire fire behavior modeling visualizations to fire practitioners, and supporting the Integrated Research Management Team (IRMT) to facilitate large prescribed fire research campaigns. 

This is a 12-month position with the possibility to extend depending on funding.  The position starts ASAP, and the application will remain open until filled.
