Your Role

As a Wildlife Biologist with several years of experience, you will be responsible for conducting wildlife assessments, developing and implementing ecological models, and contributing to conservation strategies. In this role, you will also be expected to collaborate closely with our team, including mentoring and working alongside other biologists to share knowledge and refine project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ecological Modelling: Develop and apply models to assess wildlife populations, habitats, and ecological impacts.
  • Wildlife Assessments: Conduct field surveys and gather data on wildlife species and their habitats.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze data from field studies and modelling to inform conservation strategies and project planning.
  • Technical Reporting: Prepare detailed technical reports and presentations on findings and recommendations.
  • Project Collaboration: Work with project managers and other team members to integrate modelling results into broader project goals.
  • Mentoring: Collaborate with and provide mentorship to other biologists, fostering a team-focused environment for growth and development.
  • Client Communication: Provide expertise and updates to clients on wildlife-related projects and assessments.

Education & Qualifications

  • Master’s or PhD in Wildlife Biology, Ecology, or a related field.
  • Experience with wildlife and data analysis.
  • A valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving record.
